This month we are giving special thanks to Humble Bundle and their partner publishers for including us in their bundles over the years. Thanks to the amazing efforts of their entire crew, spearheaded by Kelley Allen, Humble Bundle raised over $196K for the ILF in 2019! And, they’re still going strong having added us to another Humble Bundle that runs from Dec 30, 2019 to Jan 20, 2020. Click here to see the package of Python Technology Books & Videos.
Our Education & Outreach Director had a chance to sit down and chat with Kelley Allen at Humble to learn more about the creative way they design their packages to support charities such as ours.
Jeffrey Rosen and John Graham started Humble in 2010. As Indie game designers, they originally packaged games as Bundles, and the team has since branched out to include eBooks and videos. With over 150 approved charities, Humble has a constant source of bundles to support its network.
Kelley, who started with Humble in 2000, is dedicated to providing the best book bundles and working with the charities that each Bundle supports. They started with one book Bundle every two weeks, but this year they have launched over 100 book Bundles and in 2020 are looking to do more experimental book bundles, including the launch of Romance Bundles.
Bundles start at as little as $1. The more you donate, the more you get in the bundle.
And, the coolest feature? You can select how much of your donation goes to Humble, the publisher and the charity with the easy slider feature on the bottom of each Bundle’s page.
